The deep was 36 feet of water, the shallow was bewteen 5-15 feet of water. It's been a battle this past week. I think all those nice December days finally caught up to us. Old man winter needed to remind us of that. Not only did old man winter get our attention, but it also made the fish mad. Especially the perch this past week.

Early Ice usually means some relatively shallow fishing and we have found that to be true the last few trips, today’s Perch were in 28-30 and today’s Walleyes were in 13-16 feet.
